Does Sker Ritual have crossplay?

Research and editorial notes by Sker Ritual Guides.

Yes. Official announcements confirm crossplay for Steam, PS5 and Xbox, subsequently Epic and the last-generation consoles. Patch 1.0.2 (31 May 2024) connected PS5, Steam, and Xbox and replaced the party flow with a code. The 24 April 2025 anniversary update added PS4 and Xbox One to that same crossplay pool.

The official 1.0.2 announcement confirms the Party Code invite feature and its revised interface. The steps below describe the general invitation flow; they are not a recorded test of the current UI or every platform pairing.

How a party code works

  1. One player hosts and opens the party screen. The 1.0.2 patch is the one that redesigned this screen.
  2. Share the Party Code through your usual communication channel. Exact current menu labels were not playtested here.
  3. The other players enter the code. PlayStation accounts still need PS Plus for online play.

Xbox labels the mode as cross-platform and cross-gen, with online co-op for 2–4 players. No cross-save or cross-progression policy was found in these announcements; crossplay alone does not establish save transfer. Solo is supported and the studio says horde intensity scales with player count, without a precise enemy-count formula. See playing alone.

Whether every last-gen console pairs with Epic specifically is not spelled out pair by pair. Use the in-game code as the test.

Questions people ask

Can PS5 play with Steam?

Yes. Patch 1.0.2 on 31 May 2024 turned on PS5, Steam, and Xbox crossplay and rebuilt the party-code screen.

Is there split screen?

No. Steam's feature list has single-player, online co-op, and cross-platform multiplayer. It does not list shared or split screen.

Does Epic crossplay?

Wales Interactive said the Epic version launched with crossplay in 2024. Pairings that include PS4 or Xbox One should be confirmed with the in-game party code, because the posts do not list every pair.
